Veterans benefits (VA)

A great majority of potential residents that visit our communities are unaware they have Veterans Assistance benefits for assisted living, ancillary services, adaptive devices, medications, support groups, transportation and more. Even Veterans who are aware of some assisted living benefits seem to know only a fraction of the benefits and privileges to which they are entitled. Agemark has a network of local and national third-party VA benefit experts who help residents, and their families navigate through the complex maze, often proving room and board assistance and ancillary services far beyond the resident’s expectations.

Long-term care insurance

According to www.longtermcare.acl.gov, long-term care insurance, unlike traditional health insurance, is designed to cover long-term services, support services, personal and custodial care. Policies cover services offered in a variety of settings including assisted living and skilled nursing centers. At Agemark Communities, we accept most long-term care policies.

Typically, long-term care insurance policies reimburse policyholders a daily amount for services to assist them with activities of daily living. A range of care options and benefits are available. Our team can help you sort through your options. Or, visit www.longtermcare.acl.gov for more information.
