The year 2020 is a busy one for Agemark Senior Living with the opening of three new CountryHouse Residences for Memory Care.

Opening on February 26, 2020 is the first community in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, devoted exclusively to memory care. Located at 5710 Gibson Drive NE in Cedar Rapids, this beautiful community offers space for 40 residents, with 32 private rooms and 4 companion rooms.

Like each CountryHouse Residence, the Cedar Rapids community features round-the-clock, specially trained staff, with a variety of services including on-site health care, meals, transportation, housekeeping, laundry, personal care assistance, and on-site physical therapists. Daily activities are tailored to individual interests and preferences, with a focus on maximizing the social, physical, intellectual and spiritual well-being of each resident. CountryHouse also offers support services, educational resources, and special events for the spouses and family members of its residents.

Agemark COO Marty Hug says, “We are committed to caring for and supporting those who are experiencing memory loss in the Cedar Rapids area. We encourage individuals within the community to learn more about the benefits of our all-memory-care community and see the difference and benefits our specialized programs can provide for their loved one.”

In addition to Cedar Rapids, two more CountryHouse Residences are slated for 2020 openings. A community in Elkhorn, Nebraska, is being constructed at 3720 George B Lake Parkway and a community in Folsom, California is underway at 2005 Iron Point Road. Each community will benefit from a close-by sister community: CountryHouse in Omaha, NE, and CountryHouse in Granite Bay, CA. Both communities have anticipated opening dates of Fall 2020.
