Dear Agemark Family Members,

As the situation of Coronavirus (COVID 19) continues to develop we want to keep you updated on our response to it. This communication is to reassure you our residents, staff, and families’ safety, and wellbeing are our top priority.

We have been closely following local health department and CDC updates and recommendations. As a result of this we have developed and implemented a Response to Coronavirus Policy and Procedure. This policy details interventions to prevent exposure to the virus, as well as how we will respond if the virus is introduced into our building. Additionally, we are developing contingency plans for staffing in the anticipation of there being a disruption in the availability of healthy workers as the virus spreads.

As always, if you are ill or have been ill, we ask that you do not visit (especially if you are experiencing cough, fever or shortness of breath). We ask you do not visit our building if you have had exposure or direct contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID 19, or if you have traveled outside of the country in the last 30 days. While we are not currently restricting visitors to our Community, we may consider that option if there are reported cases of COVID 19 in the community at large. When you do visit the Community, please be diligent in your hand washing as you enter and exit rooms, or touch surfaces that are touched by others. Staff and residents will also follow these best practices.

We have developed an information packet of resources, that are attached with this communication. Additionally, we have added a new ‘button’ on our website with copies of the most current information for your reference.

We will keep you updated if the CDC makes new information available or we become aware of any recommendations that would impact our residents, employees, families or visitors.
