Dear Agemark Family Member,
Some states have begun to relax restrictions in public places and to allow businesses such as restaurants and beauty shops to open with some limitations. As these changes happen, we hope it means that soon we’ll see a light at the end of the COVID tunnel for our Communities too. But until our regulatory bodies change their recommendations for senior living communities, we will maintain all safeguards and focus on protecting our residents and staff.
Therefore, all current precautions remain in effect, including visitation restrictions and travel limited to necessary appointments only. We will continue to diligently follow the recommendations of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Center for Disease Control (CDC) the National Council for Assisted Living (NCAL) and the American Health Care Association (AHCA).
You are encouraged to engage with your loved one through video chats, such as Facetime or Zoom, along with window visits (while maintaining a 6-foot distance) now that the weather is improving. If you have not taken advantage of either of these, please contact the Community to arrange a time to visit with your loved one.
We understand that the precautions implemented in our Communities to ensure resident health and safety have been stressful for you, for residents, and for our staff. We all look forward to a time when we can see each other face to face and give a long overdue hug to those we love.
